Conveyancing Quality Scheme (CQS)
There are many different types of conveyancing service in the market place and when you are looking for a reliable, independent professional to handle your sale or purchase, on first appearances, it can be hard to differentiate between the different firms. However, the CQS is designed to assist consumers by providing a recognised quality mark endorsed and monitored by the Law Society.
To become members of the CQS this firm has undergone a strict assessment of our quality standards and compulsory training. The scheme is open only to members of the Law Society who meet the demanding standards set by the scheme and it has the support of the Council of Mortgage Lenders, the Building Societies Association, Legal Ombudsman and the Association of British Insurers.
To find out more about the CQS and how it could benefit you in your conveyancing transaction please feel free to contact any of the solicitors in the property team.
About the Department
We have been established as a local firm for over 250 years and we have long standing relationships with other professionals involved in property transactions. We keep in close contact with estate agents, mortgage brokers and surveyors as good communication is often the key to a successful transaction and meeting expectations, especially in chain transactions.
Our front door is open and we welcome personal callers. Many of our clients value our local experience and the tailored service we can provide. Of course, we also deal with many national and international clients and provide the same friendly and professional service for which we have become known.
We have our own internally produced case management system specifically designed to ensure that each transaction moves forward in a pro-active and cost effective way.
